Jesus knew that the world is obsessed with "Power Distance." This is the psychological and social gap created when leaders view themselves as superiors rather than servants. In worldly systems, leaders often use privilege and protocol to keep ordinary people at arm's length. Jesus didn't just dislike this system; He crashed it. "You know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant."
