We live in a culture completely obsessed with the body. We sculpt it at the gym, dress it in the latest fashion, and subject it to every trending diet that promises transformation. We photograph it, filter it, and post it for approval. At the same time, we run it into the ground with chronic stress, numb it with substances, and neglect it entirely in the name of being too busy. The modern world swings between two extremes. The body gets worshipped or despised. Idolized or ignored. There is almost no middle ground.
