There is a pattern that plays out in nearly every organization, church included. The loudest person in the room gets the credit. The busiest-looking team gets the recognition. The most visible activity attracts the most applause. And somewhere in the background, the person actually holding everything together works in silence. Unnoticed. Unrewarded. Eventually, unseen.
