Our Heavenly Position: A Treasure Beyond Earthly Measure

In a world where people often pursue status and titles with great fervour, there exists a profound truth that surpasses the accolades and positions we hold on earth. It's the understanding that our heavenly position holds more value than the earthly positions we strive for. This truth is not just a comforting thought; it's a powerful declaration that reshapes our identity and purpose.

The desire to be seen, heard, valued, and acknowledged is a universal longing. It's not solely the cry of children seeking affirmation; it's the echo of every human heart. We all yearn to know that we are special. This inherent desire isn't rooted in vanity but in a deep-seated knowledge that we are meant for something greater than what the world offers.

The scripture in 1 Peter 2:9–10 beautifully illustrates this:

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."

These words aren't merely poetic; they are a divine proclamation of our true identity. We are chosen, set apart, and called to reflect the glory of the One who brought us into existence. Our worth isn't dependent on the shifting sands of societal recognition but on the unshakeable rock of divine election.

When all odds seem bleak, when voices around us demand surrender, and when the pressures of life dictate compromise, we must remember our royal lineage. We cannot trade our royalty for anything less. Our faith isn't a garment to be taken off at the whims of convenience; it's the very essence of who we are.

We shouldn't place excessive value on our earthly positions. Yes, they have their place, but they pale in comparison to the heavenly position we hold. This position empowers us to serve better in our earthly roles, not as slaves to recognition but as ambassadors of grace.

Even if society ignores you, even if it regards you with low dignity, remember that your heavenly Father sees you as royalty. You are His special child, and in His eyes, you stand tall. You have the acknowledgement of God, the highest authority, the King of kings.

So let us not be swayed by the transient titles of this world. Instead, let us embrace our heavenly position, for it is there that we find the true value of our existence. It is there that we discover the power to serve, the strength to persevere, and the joy of being truly special in the eyes of the Almighty.

Stand tall, for you are acknowledged by God.

Blessings!
