2. Read and meditate on the word of God

Notice what Apostle Paul says concerning praying in these scriptures:
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thesalonians 5:17.

I believe you’ll be encouraged by these verses:
“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.” — 1 John 5:14,15.
When you’re rejoicing in your difficulties, when you’re giving thanks in everything, when you’re praying always, you’re executing God’s will for you. You’re suppressing anxiety.
4. Give thanks to God
The moment you’re saying thank you to God, you’re telling Him that despite the unmet needs, He remains to be the supplier. You’re telling Him that despite the troubles, He’ll step in and do more than what He did before.
Paul admonishes us in this manner:
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6,7.
5. Listen to the testimonies of other people
As you begin listening to the testimonies of other people who endured difficulties and overcame, you’re becoming stronger. Now you’re discovering that what you’re experiencing is barely a wee bit compared to what some people undergo. You’re learning that if God did for them he can also do for you. You’re conquering anxiety.
Now, if you start putting these points into practice, you’re going to begin offloading your mind of anxiety. You’re going to start getting out of your self-presence and begin entering into God’s presence.
Dear friend, the all-knowing, all-mighty God loves you. He wants you to bring all your troubles, all your needs, all your anxieties to Him. And wait to behold His divine power and wisdom in operation. He wants you to witness His faithfulness.
