Being faithful over a few things

Elisha's life shows us how small acts of faithfulness can lead to great things. His story, found in scripture, teaches us about humility, perseverance, and how God uses small beginnings to prepare us for bigger purposes. Starting as a Servant "Then he arose and followed Elijah, and became his servant." ~ 1 Kings 19:21. Elisha’s journey began quietly as Elijah’s servant. He did simple tasks, like pouring water over Elijah’s hands, that seemed unimportant to others. But Elisha didn’t see these duties as small. He understood that being faithful in the little things was part of a bigger plan. Later, Elisha was known not just as a servant but as a prophet with great authority. The one who served in small ways was now helping kings and performing miracles.
